Jeffrey A. Hatfield is a Registered Principal entering his 36th year serving clients financial planning needs. He specializes in estate and retirement planning. Married for soon to be 39 years to Annette they reside in Virginia to be near their only child and grandkids 2 and 6.
He spent 33 years in the tri state building his business which now serves clients in 17 states. He and his wife enjoy motorcycling in the Blue Ridge Mountains, RV travel, volunteering and spending time with friends and family. Jeff is an avid woodworker and builds both street rods and custom motorcycles.
Olivia graduated from NKU in 2017 with a Bachelors in social work. From there, she went on to work at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services as a specialized investigator. During her time there, she began to grow her photography business where she would later become a full time small business owner. Olivia has now been running her wedding photography business for the past 7 years. She photographs families, lifestyles but her specialty will always be weddings. Olivia enjoys photographing destination weddings and events but will always love photographing in her home state of Kentucky and bordering state Ohio.
Olivia is married to her husband Aaron and they have two beautiful little girls, Finely Hatfield (5) and Maeve Hatfield (1).
Olivia is new to the financial world, but is excited to contribute her knowledge that she has gained from learning how to run a small business and creating the best experience for clients as possible.
Shannon is a proud alum of the University of Kentucky, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Strategic Communication. Following her graduation, she relocated to the Greater Cincinnati area, immersing herself in various roles within sales and advertising that honed her professional skills.
Now residing in Northern Kentucky with her husband and their four energetic sons, Shannon is deeply committed to her family. Most of her evenings and weekends are filled with the excitement of the ballpark or cheering on her boys at football and soccer games. Beyond her family activities, she enjoys long weekends at the lake, traveling, exploring local dining options, reading, cooking, and solving puzzles.
After dedicating 12 years as a stay-at-home mom, Shannon is excited to bring her strong organizational skills to her role as an Administrative Assistant at Hatfield and Becker. Her diverse background in communication and her passion for helping others make her a valuable asset to the team. Shannon’s journey reflects her commitment to both her family and her professional endeavors, and she looks forward to contributing to the success of her colleagues and clients.
Mark has been working in the investment business since 2000 where he started his career with Fifth Third Bank. Prior to joining Jeff at Hatfield & Becker, Mark has had the opportunity to specialize in working with Financial Professionals on estate, retirement income, tax & risk management strategies since 2001 for firms such as Lincoln Financial Distributors, Inc. He is now excited to bring these planning strategies as an additional service to Jeff's clients at Hatfield & Becker.
Mark grew up on the westside of Cincinnati in a family of 6 and attended Elder High School. Mark then went on to further his education at the University of Cincinnati where her earned his Bachelor’s Degree through the College of Business with a focus in Finance & Accounting.
Even though Mark is a westsider at heart, he married a Northern Kentucky girl so, he wisely moved across the river in Villa Hills, KY. Mark has been married to his wife Julane since 2005. They have 3 children: Nathan (12), Blake (10), and Marcy (8) and outside of work, Mark, Julane & the kids spend time hiking, volunteering, and watching/coaching kids sports. He and Julane are active in their Church and children's school but still find time to go to a Reds or Bengals game or watch an Ohio State Football game. He also coaches 7th-grade football for Covington Catholic Youth Football. If there is any time to spare, Mark tries to hit the golf course, try a new recipe or take the kids hunting.
Brian graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2010 with a degree in entrepreneurship where he would later work in tax and accounting for 13 years. While Brian will still be working in for DeVault Accounting doing tax preparation, he will also be providing his knowledge and experience with Hatfield and Becker.
Brian is married to his wife Emily and they have two boys Mitchell (6) and Emmett (3). When Brian has free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and other outdoor activities. Brian is exited to be the liaison between Hatfield & Becker and DeVault Accounting.
Karen Emmerich is a retired registered financial assistant with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Now being retired, Karen enjoys visiting national parks, especially Yellowstone and Glacier National Park, taking long drives in the country, reading, and spending time with her family.
She and her husband, Eric are empty nesters and have two grown children, Ethan and Hayley and three dogs.
We miss Karen deeply but we hope she is enjoying her time in retirement and gets to do the things she loves!
